Do not send money by mail or drop it off. Ocean County Jail will not accept money that is dropped off or mailed into the facility. Never send cash in the mail.
Money orders and checks aren't accepted either. That includes any type of check, even one made out correctly or sent directly from a bank.
- Do not mail cash, a money order, or a check - the facility will not accept these forms of payment.
- Call the jail before you try to add funds - ask what methods are currently approved for deposits and what information you need (for example, the person’s name and any ID number the jail uses).
- Follow the instructions exactly - using the wrong method can mean delays, rejected transactions, or funds being sent back.

Reminder: Money dropped off or mailed to the facility will not be accepted. Call first so you don't waste time or risk sending something that can't be processed.
