Scheduling Visits at Oconee County Detention Center — Onsite and Remote

Onsite visits are free - good news if you're trying to stay connected without extra costs.

Each onsite visit lasts 30 minutes. Arrive ready to make the most of your time.

You can schedule up to two onsite visits per week.

Book your visit online at customer.Cidnet.net. The facility only accepts online scheduling - you can't call in or walk up to reserve a spot.

Mask rule: Anyone entering the visitation area for an onsite visit must wear a mask, or the visit will be terminated.

Can't make it to the jail? Remote video visits work from a laptop, smartphone, or tablet.

Remote visits run 30 minutes, same as onsite.

Unlike onsite visits, remote visits have no weekly cap. You can schedule and pay for as many as you want.

Steps-onsite

  • Schedule through the Visit portal at customer.Cidnet.net (online scheduling only)
  • Be ready to work through the system you’ll see for visitation services (Encartele is the facility’s provider for visitation and phone services)
  • Bring a mask and keep it on in the visitation area - without one, the onsite visit can be terminated
  1. Start in the Encartele system - Encartele is the provider used for visitation services at the facility.
  2. Choose your device - you can do the remote visit on a laptop, smartphone, or tablet.
  3. Book your session - each remote visit is 30 minutes.
  4. Schedule as often as you want (if you’re paying) - the person scheduling the remote visit isn’t limited in the number of paid visits they choose to have within the week.

Before you go: Double-check your scheduled time in the portal and watch for any vendor messages. If something's off, contact the Oconee County Sheriff's Office at 864-718-1066 or by mail at 300 S Church St, Walhalla, SC 29691.
