How to Visit Facility
Planning a visit starts well before you arrive. Your first step is getting approved and scheduled through the specific facility where the person you want to visit is held.
Before making any travel plans, contact the facility directly. They handle background check approvals and visit scheduling. This step is required, so hold off on booking anything until you have clear confirmation that your visit is approved.
If you are completing a Juvenile Services Visiting Request form, mail the completed request to: WV Division of Corrections & Rehabiltitation, Bureau of Juvenile Services, Attn: Visitors Request, 1409 Greenbrier Street, Charleston, WV 25311. Note: The Superintendent can deny your visit even if your background check has been approved. Always confirm you have permission to visit before traveling.
