Okaloosa County Corrections switched from Securus to HomeWAV. If your calls, messages, or video visits suddenly stopped working the way you expected, that's why. It's also why you might be ready to close out your Securus account and start fresh with HomeWAV.

To delete your Securus Online account, call Securus customer care at 972-734-1111. If you want someone to walk you through it - or just want confirmation the account is actually closed - calling is the most straightforward option.

You can also delete your account directly in the Securus app. On iOS or Android, look for

Funded your Securus prepaid account online with a credit card? Your full remaining balance goes back to the card you used most recently. Securus says refunds are issued within 2–3 business days, though it can take up to one billing cycle to appear on your statement.

Warning: Deleting your Securus account cancels any remaining VideoConnect subscriptions and scheduled sessions.

Timing matters here. Delete your account before a scheduled VideoConnect session, and that session - plus any future ones - gets voided with no refund. If you have visits on the calendar, cancel those scheduled sessions first. Then delete the account once you've confirmed nothing paid is still pending.
