Ordering Books for Someone at Omaha Correctional Center (Barnes & Noble and approved vendors)

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services (NDCS) lets people on the outside order books for incarcerated individuals through approved vendors. Barnes & Noble is on the NDCS approved vendor list, so you can place an order online and have it shipped directly to the person at Omaha Correctional Center.

NDCS requires that packages sent to Omaha Correctional Center include the incarcerated person's committed name (or legally changed name) and their institutional number on the label. You also need the facility name, the facility P.O. box number, city, state, and ZIP code. If any of those pieces are missing or incorrect, the mailroom can send the package back.
