ViaPath can send expiration reminders - but only if your contact info is on file and you've opted in. Add your email and/or mobile number, turn on reminder alerts, and ViaPath will notify you at least 30 days before your account expires.

  1. Add your contact information to your ViaPath account - make sure the email address and/or mobile number you actually check is saved on your profile.
  2. Opt in to reminder alerts - look for notification or alert settings during setup or in your account settings.
  3. Confirm your contact method works - double-check for typos and complete any verification prompts so reminders can reach you.
  4. Watch for the reminder window - if you’re opted in, ViaPath sends a text and/or email reminder no later than 30 days before your account expires.

Already have a ConnectNetwork account? You don't need to create a new one. Sign into GTL Connect with the same email and password you use for ConnectNetwork - no duplicate logins to juggle.

  • Try signing into GTL Connect using your existing ConnectNetwork email and password
  • If it doesn’t work, use the password-reset option before you create anything new
  • Avoid creating a second account with the same email - use your existing sign-in instead

Note: If a facility policy page won't load, check your vendor account pages and any order confirmations instead. These usually have the most current info on supported features.

Before buying or sending any rechargeable electronic device, confirm it'll actually work at the facility. The NC Property Program warns that some prisons lack the infrastructure for rechargeable devices - and you're responsible for checking compatibility with the specific facility's conditions and restrictions.

  • Confirm with the vendor that the facility supports the rechargeable device you’re considering
  • Check that the specific product is compatible with the facility’s conditions and restrictions
  • Keep your receipt and any vendor confirmation in case you need to reference the purchase later
