Where to Drop Off Property for Someone at Orange County Jail
Dropping off property is straightforward once you know what the jail accepts and where to go. Here's what you can bring, where to take it, and what to expect when you arrive.
Orange County Jail only accepts certain "approved property" items. For court clothing, that means pants, a shirt, shoes, dress socks, a jacket, and a clip-on tie - or a dress, or a skirt and blouse. Prescription eyewear is allowed, but sunglasses aren't. You can also bring dentures, contacts, and saline solution as long as the saline is in sealed vials or bottles.
Note: All incoming property will be searched for contraband, so don’t include anything extra or tucked inside clothing or packaging.
Bring approved property to the Video Visitation Center at 3000 39th Street, Orlando, Florida, 32839.
Drop-offs are accepted between 9:30 am and 8:30 pm, seven days a week.
You'll need to read and sign a Florida Statute 951.22 County Detention Facilities; Contraband Articles form when you drop off property. Plan a few extra minutes for this step.
Staff will search everything you hand over for contraband. Stick to approved items only - anything extra could delay or get your drop-off rejected.
Before you drive over: Orange County's pages show different ZIP codes for the Video Visitation Center. Call ahead to confirm the exact drop-off location before you go.
