How to Set Up and Use Video Visits at Ordnance Road Correctional Center (ICSolutions)

Setting up a video visit at Ordnance Road Correctional Center is straightforward once you know the rules that trip people up most often: who needs to register, how far ahead you can schedule, and the exact login window. The sections below will help you get your account ready, book the right kind of visit (onsite vs. offsite), and avoid timing issues on visit day.

Friends and family members 18 or older need to create an ICSolutions account before doing anything else. This is the same account you'll use to schedule visits, so get it set up before you try to book a time slot.

Plan ahead. Video visits must be booked at least 24 hours in advance, and you can schedule up to 4 weeks out. If you're trying to visit on short notice and can't find an opening, that 24-hour minimum is usually why.

Each video visit can last up to 25 minutes. If you're coordinating with kids, work breaks, or multiple family members, treat 25 minutes as a hard cap and be ready to start on time. Any setup delays eat into your visit.

Ordnance Road Correctional Center limits onsite video visits to three per week per incarcerated person. If you want more frequent contact, offsite (from-home) visits are a better option than relying solely on onsite sessions.

  • No more than 2 adults and 1 child
  • Or, 1 adult and 2 children

Offsite video visits (from home) have no weekly cap. You can schedule as many as you need, as long as there are open times in the system and you follow the normal scheduling rules.

Offsite video visits cost $6.25 each. You'll pay during the booking process, so have your payment method ready when you schedule.

Login Lateness Monitoring

  • Log in no more than 5 minutes early
  • You can be up to 15 minutes late

Note: Video visits at Ordnance Road Correctional Center are monitored and recorded. Treat the call like a conversation in a public setting and stick to visitation rules.

  1. Get set up 10 to 15 minutes before the start time. You cannot log in more than 5 minutes early, but you can still use the extra time to sign into your account, confirm your camera and microphone, and close other apps.
  2. Double-check which device and internet connection you will use. Switching phones, browsers, or Wi-Fi at the last minute is one of the easiest ways to run into audio or video problems.
  3. Keep your account details handy. If you need to reset a password or confirm your email, it is better to do it before your login window opens.
  4. If something glitches, use the help options inside ICSolutions. Look for support or troubleshooting within your account so you are not scrambling during the visit.

On the facility side, the incarcerated person connects through the on-site Visitation Kiosk. They press "Video" and log in with the same PIN they use for telephone calls. If they choose the wrong option at the kiosk, the visit may not connect, even if you're logged in and ready on your end.

To check what's coming up, they can press "Portal" at the kiosk and log in with the same telephone-call PIN. From there, they'll see a list of all scheduled video visits.
