How to Submit to Drug Testing on Pretrial Release in Osceola County
Drug or alcohol testing as a pretrial condition? Stay compliant by showing up prepared—right location, right hours, right payment, and no mistakes once you check in.
Pretrial drug testing is conducted at the Osceola County Drug Laboratory at 317 Church Street, Kissimmee, FL 34741.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. There's a catch: the lab closes for lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Arrive well before 11:45 or wait until after 1:00 - show up during the break and you'll be turned away.
Each drug test costs $25.00. Alcohol-only testing runs $20.00.
Payment rule: Tests are paid by money order only, and the money order must be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC).
When you arrive, sign in with the laboratory staff. Bring a valid photo ID and your money order - you'll need both at check-in.
No children: Do not bring children to the laboratory - this is explicitly prohibited.
- ✓ Once you enter the lobby, be prepared to test.
- ✓ After you’re checked in, do not leave the lobby.
- ✓ After you’re checked in, do not drink anything.
- ✓ After you’re checked in, do not use the public restroom.
- ✓ If you leave the lobby, drink anything, or use the public restroom after check-in, it will be treated as a “no test” and you will forfeit your payment.
All tests are observed. A certified collector of the same gender will directly watch the collection process.
Live outside the area? You'll need to find an observed testing site near you. Make sure the results go directly to your supervising officer.
Contesting results: If you dispute a test result and want an independent analysis, you are responsible for the total cost of that analysis.
