Money Order Deposits for Pasquotank Inmates: The Free Option and How Long It Takes
Mailing a money order is the one free way to add money to someone's account at Pasquotank. The trick is making it payable to the right entity and sending it to the correct address so the funds get credited without delays.
Make the money order payable to TouchPay. This is the traditional, no-fee way to send funds. Just follow the payee and mailing instructions exactly so the deposit gets processed and posted to the offender's account.
Note: Only approved visitors for that offender are permitted to deposit funds into their account.
Mail the money order along with a deposit slip to: TouchPay Holdings, LLC, PO Box 174, Houston, TX 77001-0174. Including the deposit slip ensures TouchPay can apply the funds to the correct trust account.
Note: NCDAC uses ViaPath (including TouchPay/ConnectNetwork) to handle deposits. The prison itself does not accept or process mailed money orders. ViaPath also offers web, mobile, phone, and walk-in options if you need a faster alternative.
Once you mail the money order, funds will be available within ten business days. TouchPay tries to post them sooner, but plan for that full window so you're not caught off guard if it takes the entire ten days.
- Wait the full processing window - mailed money orders can take up to ten business days to become available.
- Call ViaPath for help - if you are having trouble making deposits or the funds still have not posted, call ViaPath’s toll-free assistance line at 877-650-4249.
