Sending Money to Perry Inmates: All Deposit Methods, Limits, and Timing

You have a few ways to send money to someone at Perry Correctional Facility. The right choice depends on what's most convenient for you and how quickly the funds need to arrive. Your options: (1) mail a money order with the required deposit form to GTL Financial Services, (2) make a cash deposit at one of thousands of participating retail locations, or (3) use ConnectNetwork's automated channels - website, mobile app, toll-free phone, or kiosk. Automated deposits transmit to the facility within one business day, though actual availability still depends on facility policies.

To mail a deposit, send a completed deposit form along with your money order to GTL Financial Services at: 10005 Technology Blvd West Suite 130, Dallas, TX 75220. Fill out the form completely - it tells GTL which trust account should receive the funds.

  • Completed deposit form (filled out completely)
  • Money order (issued in U.S. Dollars)
  • Inmate’s full name and correct ID number on the form
  • Amount that does not exceed $300 per money order

Note: Money orders used for trust deposits must be issued in U.S. Dollars, and the maximum amount per money order is $300.

Prefer paying in cash? SCDC allows walk-in deposits at a large network of retail stores. Since April 7, 2019, you can make cash deposits for SCDC phone or trust accounts at over 26,000 locations nationwide, including Walmart, Kmart, and Kroger.

  • Inmate’s full name
  • Inmate’s ID number
  • Any account details the payment system asks for during the walk-in process

Need the money there fast? ConnectNetwork's automated deposits - via website, mobile app, toll-free phone, or kiosk - transmit to the facility within one business day. Keep in mind that facility policies can still affect when funds actually become available.

Tip: Automated deposits are typically the fastest option - transmitted within one business day. Just know that facility policies may still determine when the money can actually be used.

Requesting a refund from a GTL account? Expect it to take a while. Refunds are mailed to your address within 2 to 4 weeks after GTL receives the request.
