Public visits at Pickens County Detention run Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. If you're working around a job or school schedule, aim for earlier in the day - you'll need time to get scheduled and checked in.

Planning tip: Public visits are limited to two visits per day, per inmate, and the facility does not schedule any visitations after 3:40 pm.

Each inmate can receive two public visits per day. If multiple people want to see the same person, coordinate ahead of time - otherwise you might use up both visits before everyone gets a chance.

Public visiting hours run until 4:00 pm, but there's a catch: no visits are scheduled after 3:40 pm. Show up late in the afternoon and you might get turned away. Plan to arrive well before that 3:40 cutoff.
