Call at least 24 hours before your visit to confirm the youth's housing assignment. Visiting hours differ between General Housing and Maximum Security, so this step saves you a wasted trip. Reach the facility at 530-886-4875 to check housing and plan around the right schedule.

  • General Housing: Saturday, 2:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.
  • Maximum Security: Sunday, 2:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.

Bring a government-issued photo ID. Show up without one, and you won't get in.

Who can visit: Visits are generally limited to parents, legal guardians, and court-approved visitors. Attorneys of record and religious professionals may also visit.
