To add an inmate to your visitor profile, you’ll need their TDCJ or SID number. If you don’t know it, use the TDCJ Offender Search tool to look them up and confirm you have the right person before you try to add them.

Double-check the TDCJ or SID number before submitting. It must be exactly 8 digits - if it's not, the system may fail to find the inmate or block your request entirely.
