How to Apply for Visiting Approval at Pocatello Women's Correctional Center (PWCC)

Before visiting someone at Pocatello Women's Correctional Center (PWCC), you need to do two things: read the Visiting Rules for Residents and Visitors, and complete the visiting application. If you're 18 or older, submit the Visiting Application - Adult. Read the Visiting Rules for Residents and Visitors first. Completing the application is only one part of what PWCC expects before you show up to visit.

Children 17 or younger have a separate form: Visiting Application - Minor (for child to visit). This application is required for any child to be approved for visits at PWCC.

After you submit your application, the background check typically takes two to four weeks. Plan around that window so you're not trying to schedule a visit before your approval comes through.

You won't get the approval notice directly. Visiting room staff notify the resident when the application and background check are complete.
