Polk County Jail uses Viapath for inmate deposits. Add money online at www.gettingout.com, or call 866-516-0115 to deposit by phone. Both options work for funding an inmate's trust/commissary account.

Prefer to deposit in person? There's a kiosk in the Polk County Jail visitation lobby at Door Number 2. It's the quickest on-site option for adding funds.

The kiosk accepts cash or credit card. Heads up: kiosk transactions (and other Viapath deposits) come with vendor fees, so you'll pay more than what actually posts to the inmate's account.

Tip: On the kiosk, choose the “Trust/Commissary” option so the money posts to the inmate’s account.

Viapath caps deposits at $3,000 per 24-hour period. Need to send more? You'll have to split it across multiple days.

Expect fees when using the kiosk or Viapath with cash or credit - charges apply for both bail and commissary deposits. Fee amounts vary, so check the Viapath terms during checkout to see the final cost before confirming.

Ensure Trust Posting

  • Select “Trust/Commissary” when you deposit at the kiosk.
  • If you deposit through Viapath online or by phone, make sure the deposit is going to Trust/Commissary (not another category).
