Before Your First Visit to Potter County Jail: IDs, Prohibited Items, and Where to Leave Belongings
Visiting Potter County Jail goes smoothly when you bring the right ID and leave prohibited items behind. Here's what you need to know to avoid getting turned away at check-in.
You'll need a photo ID to visit Potter County Jail. A current Texas driver's license or ID card works, and so does a valid out-of-state license or ID - just make sure it has your photo.
No driver's license or state ID? A current military ID or alien identification card will also work for check-in.
Paper license reminder: If you’re bringing a paper (temporary) driver’s license, you must also bring another picture ID that shows the correct address.
