How to schedule a visit using the GTL portal (CDCR)
Visiting someone in CDCR? The GTL visitation portal is where you'll schedule visits and track your bookings.
Once you sign in, you can schedule visits and manage your upcoming appointments. You're not just picking a day. You can also check back anytime to confirm what you've booked.
The portal lets you choose from available dates, times, and locations. After you reserve a slot, the visit is confirmed instantly. No waiting to find out if your request went through.
- Open the CDCR GTL visitation portal login page - This is where you will see options for returning users and new users.
- Click “CLAIM ACCOUNT” - Use the exact “CLAIM ACCOUNT” link shown for new users.
- Follow the prompts to finish setup - Complete each screen until your account is created, then return to the login screen to sign in and schedule.
Already have an account? Log in with your Visitor ID or email, plus your password. If you can't remember which login you used or get stuck, check the Contact and FAQ links on the login page for help.
Once you're signed in, find your loved one in the portal, then pick an available date, time, and location. Submit your reservation and you'll get instant confirmation. You can sign back in anytime to view or manage upcoming visits.
