How to Send Money to Facility

Putnam County Jail uses Smart Communications for inmate communications. Kiosks (or portable kiosks) are installed in all housing units, giving inmates access to both outside and internal communications. Most account-based activity runs through that system.

If you're sending anything by mail, get the address exactly right. All inmate mail must go to Smart Communications for Putnam County and include the inmate's full name and ID number. Miss either one, and the mail gets returned to sender.

Steps to Follow

• ✓ Address inmate mail to: Smart Communications / Putnam County
• ✓ Include the inmate’s first name, last name, and ID number on the address
• ✓ Use this mailing address: PO Box 9151, Seminole, FL 33775-9151
• ✓ Double-check the name and ID before you send it, mail missing either one is returned to sender

• ✓ Look for Smart Communications kiosks or portable kiosks in the housing units, this is the system installed for inmate outside and internal communications
• ✓ If your plan depends on kiosk access (for messaging or other account-based communication), confirm the person you’re supporting can access the kiosk in their unit

• ✓ If you use ConnectNetwork AdvancePay, keep the account active by using it at least once within each 180-day period
• ✓ Remember that any use resets the inactivity clock
• ✓ For refunds, call ConnectNetwork customer service at 877-650-4249
