What to Wear (and What Not to Wear) When Visiting R.M.C - Main Unit
Dress code problems are one of the fastest ways to lose a visit. Here's what R.M.C - Main Unit actually enforces so you can show up confident and avoid getting turned away at the door.
You must wear a shirt to visit R.M.C - Main Unit. Staff enforce this at the door, no exceptions. Not sure if something counts as a shirt? Keep it simple. Choose a standard top that clearly meets the rule. The goal is getting through check-in without your clothing becoming a problem.
Heads up: Shoes are mandatory. Heelys (shoes with wheels) and any footwear with removable parts are not allowed.
Wearing a dress, skirt, or Bermuda-length shorts? Pay attention to length. R.M.C - Main Unit doesn't allow any of these if they sit more than 3 inches above the knee. Before you leave, do a quick mirror check while standing normally. If it's higher than that limit, swap it out. Don't risk getting denied entry over something this easy to fix.
Skip the camouflage. Military-style camo of any color is banned, including jungle (green), urban (grey/black), and desert (tan/brown) patterns. If the print looks like camo, even "fashion" camo, pick something else. This rule is easy to follow and easy to get stopped for.
Anyone 16 or older needs a valid photo ID. You'll have to show it to enter the visiting area, and staff will turn you away without it.
