What You Can Bring to a Visit at R.M.C - Main Unit: Cash, Prescription Medication, and Baby Supplies
Packing for a visit is easier when you know the exact limits ahead of time. Here's what you need to know about cash for vending, prescription medications, and approved infant supplies at R.M.C - Main Unit.
You can bring cash into the visiting area, but there's a $50.00 limit per visitor (regardless of age). This money is for snacks and beverages from the vending machines.
Plan your bills ahead of time. Only $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills are accepted for vending purchases.
Important: Under no circumstances will money be given to an inmate.
If you take prescription medication, bring only the dosage you will need for the period of the visit. Do not bring extra doses “just in case.”
- ✓ Keep each prescription medication in its original prescribed container
- ✓ Make sure the label is clearly readable
- ✓ The label must show the type of medication, dosage requirements, and the name of the person the medication was prescribed to
Bringing an infant or small child? You can bring up to five diapers.
You can bring up to three baby bottles, and they must be clear.
Toddlers? You can bring up to two sipper cups.
Baby food is allowed in limited quantities: up to three clear plastic jars, and they must be sealed (unopened).
