Racine Youthful Offender Corr. Facility

All in-person and video visits at Racine Youthful Offender Corr. Facility (RYOCF) are scheduled through ICSolutions. Before booking, you'll need to create or update your account using a unique Party ID. If your Party ID isn't working, contact DOC electronic visit support—RYOCF staff can't fix Party ID issues. Slots open 48 hours to two weeks in advance on a first-come, first-served basis. ICSolutions also requires at least 60 minutes between an in-person visit and a video visit. Up to three visitors can attend at once. RYOCF offers four 2-hour in-person visit slots each week with set weekday and weekend time windows. Visitors 16 and older must show photo ID and be approved via the DOC-21AA questionnaire. If the facility cancels your visit, you'll get a refund. Late arrivals or missed cancellations may still be charged for video visits. Starting 3/23/2025, vending machines will accept coins and one card per visitor.

RYOCF uses DOC-approved vendors for remote communication. Video visits go through ICSolutions—register at icsolutions.com with the Party ID assigned for RYOCF before scheduling. Each video visit runs 25 minutes and costs $2.50. Running late? You can sign in up to 10 minutes after the start time, but you'll still be charged if you sign in late or don't cancel in time. For tablet-based messaging and photo sharing, set up a Getting Out (GTL) account at www.gettingout.com. Make sure you're on the facility's approved visitor list and purchase any needed credits through the vendor site. All communications are screened and monitored under DOC vendor rules.

RYOCF uses different mailing addresses depending on what you're sending. Personal letters go to TextBehind at P.O. Box 189 in Phoenix, MD. Those letters are scanned and delivered digitally—the originals are destroyed by a certified third-party service 30 days after scanning. Magazines and merchandise must be sent to the facility addresses designated for those items, so check RYOCF's address guides and any publisher/vendor requirements before ordering. Legal and medical mail that's clearly identifiable isn't opened or processed by TextBehind. It's forwarded directly to the institution and handled under legal-mail procedures. For smoother delivery, include the incarcerated person's full legal name, DOC/inmate number, your return address, and the facility name.

RYOCF follows DAI rules that prohibit visitors from bringing money intended for someone in custody into the facility—leave cash at home. To add funds, Wisconsin facilities typically use third-party deposit services. Common options include online portals, phone payments, lobby kiosks, walk-in locations, or mailed money orders. Deposits go into the person's account for commissary and other approved uses. The facility may deduct outstanding debts before funds become available. Electronic deposits may include vendor fees, and personal checks can be held before they clear. When depositing, have the person's full name, ID number, and any required facility codes or birthdate ready. Video visits and messaging/photo services require separate registration through ICSolutions and Getting Out.
