Bring a photo ID. You'll need to show it at check-in - no exceptions.

The jail accepts a DMV-issued ID or driver's license with a current photo, a passport, or a military ID. For minors, a current school ID works, and you can also use a birth certificate or legal custody agreement.

Bringing a child or teenager? Plan for age verification. Kids need a current school ID or a DMV children's ID.

Pack light - you can't bring food, drinks, or personal items into the visitation area. Eyeglasses are the one exception.

Bring a quarter. You'll need it to lock up your belongings before entering visitation, even if you're leaving most things in your car.

Medical items are allowed. If you need an inhaler, nitroglycerin tablets, a wheelchair or walker, or an insulin pump, you can bring those into visitation.

Expect screening when you arrive. Everyone entering the premises is subject to search.

Heads up: If you’re intoxicated or appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, you won’t be permitted to remain on the premises.

Once you're in the visitation area, stay seated. Standing in the booth or stacking chairs isn't allowed. Staff enforce these rules, and breaking them can end your visit early.

Warning: Exposure, offensive gestures, and profanity aren’t allowed. Damage to equipment or the facility can lead to criminal charges and restitution.

Bringing kids? Handle the reservation details first. Only two visitors are allowed per inmate, and that count includes babies and children - so add them to the reservation. Only people listed on your confirmation can visit; walk-ins aren't allowed. One more thing: each registered visitor needs their own email account for scheduling.

  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
  • Children must be supervised at all times; if a child is disruptive (crying, screaming, running, etc.), the accompanying adult will be asked to control the child or leave.
  • Diaper changing in the visitation or lobby area is prohibited.
