How to Sign Up for a Visit at RADF (same‑day sign‑up, ID, and timing)
Visiting someone at RADF is a same-day, in-person process, so timing matters. Follow the steps below to show up with the right ID, sign up on time, and avoid common reasons for being turned away.

At RADF, you sign up in person on the same day you want to visit. The sign-up window runs from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm, so plan your day around that window.
You also need to sign up at least one hour before the scheduled visit time. Give yourself extra time to arrive, check in, and complete the sign-up process. This is especially true if it's your first visit.
Tip: Sign-ups are first come, first served. Arrive earlier in the day to improve your chances of getting a spot.
Bring a valid local, state, or federal U.S. government identification card. You'll need to present it both at sign-up and at the visit itself.

Expect to be searched when you enter for visitation. Build in enough time so the entry process doesn't feel rushed.

- ✓ Do not bring purses, bags, or similar items into the facility. Those items are not allowed and must be stored and secured by you.
