Visitation at Regional Adult Detention Facility (RADF)

How to visit, scheduling, dress code, and visitor requirements

Overview

RADF resumed in-person, on-site barrier visits on March 20, 2023, with module-specific visiting times posted at the facility. Sign-ups happen same-day: registration opens at 7:00 am and closes at 6:30 pm, and you need to sign up at least one hour before your scheduled visit. Slots fill first-come, first-served. Bring a valid U.S. government photo ID showing your name, date of birth, and photo—you'll need it for both sign-up and check-in. Expect to be searched. Inside, you can only carry your ID, wallet, and car or home keys. Leave purses and bags behind. The dress code is enforced: no low-cut shirts, short shorts, tank tops, see-through clothing, very short dresses or skirts, spaghetti straps, or strapless tops. Each inmate can have up to two visitors and only one visit per day. Imperial County policy guarantees at least two visits per week totaling one hour.
