At Richmond County Jail, you must check in 15 minutes prior to your scheduled visit time.
Show up late, and you'll only get whatever time remains in your visit window - or you might not get in at all. Plan to arrive early so check-in doesn't cut into your actual visit.

- ✓ Valid driver’s license from another state

Only scheduled visitors are allowed into the video visitation area. If you're not on the list, you'll be turned away at check-in.
Reminder: Once you leave the video visitation area, you won’t be allowed back in.
Visits are monitored and may be recorded. Assume your conversation isn't private.
Expect to be searched before entering the visitation area. Keep what you bring simple and follow staff directions.
No admission if intoxicated: If you appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, you will not be admitted into the video visitation area.
