How to Address Your First Letter to Someone at CFCF (with example)

At Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility (CFCF), the incarcerated person's ID number (PPN) must appear on the envelope. Leave it off or write the wrong one, and your letter can get delayed or never reach the right person, even if everything else looks correct.

1. Write the incarcerated person’s name and PPN - Put their name followed by their ID number in this format: PPN#[number].
2. Add the facility name - On the next line, write: CFCF.
3. Finish with the street address - Use the facility address exactly as shown below.

Before you seal the envelope, check that the PPN is clearly written and included with the person’s name. CFCF requires the PPN on the envelope for mail to be processed correctly.
