Scheduling Your Visit at Robertson County Jail: Step-by-Step (and how to avoid cancellations)

Each inmate at Robertson County Jail gets one hour of visitation per week. Space is limited, so you can't walk in and hope for an opening - every visit must be scheduled through the visitation office ahead of time.

Note: For the complete list of visitation rules, call the visitation office at 615-384-7971.

Before You Schedule

  • Your GTL portal login (you’ll need to sign in to schedule and manage visits)
  • The inmate information needed to select the correct person in the system
  • Your basic contact details so your account and notifications work smoothly
  • A few date/time options in mind so you can pick what’s available and convenient
Scheduling Your Visit at Robertson County Jail: Step-by-Step (and how to avoid cancellations)
  1. Sign in to the GTL portal - You’ll use your account to schedule and manage upcoming visits.
  2. Choose your visit details - Select the date, time, and location that works best for you.
  3. Confirm the appointment - Visits are confirmed instantly once you complete scheduling.
  4. Save your confirmation - Keep the confirmation handy so you can double-check your scheduled time later if needed.

Troubleshooting: AOL and Yahoo can block registration or scheduling emails - using an alternate email address can help. For GTL account or scheduling questions, call (855) 208-7349.

Visiting hours run Monday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Sundays start later - 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm - so plan your drive and any childcare around that.

Arrive early: If you’re more than 15 minutes late, your visit will be cancelled. Give yourself extra time so a traffic delay doesn’t cost you your weekly visit.

For video visits through GTL, any standard internet browser works - including Safari on iOS. The old Visbridge program is no longer required or supported. If it's still on your device, you can safely remove it.

A common headache: registration and confirmation emails never arrive. GTL warns that AOL and Yahoo often block these notifications. Switching to a different email address usually fixes the problem.
