Scheduling Your Visit at Robertson County Jail: step-by-step (GTL)
Scheduling a visit at Robertson County Jail is straightforward once you know the process. Here's how visits work, how to book through the GTL portal, and what to do if you're not getting confirmation emails.
Each inmate at Robertson County Jail is allowed one one-hour visit per week. Space is limited, so every visit has to be scheduled through the visitation office. You can't just show up and hope for an open slot.
Visitation hours are Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. On Sundays, visitation runs from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.
To schedule online, use the GTL visitation portal. Once you sign in, you can pick your preferred date, time, and location, then get an instant confirmation once the visit is booked. This is also where you go to reschedule or cancel if your plans change.
Note: If you're at the jail in person, kiosks in the visitation lobby and main lobby let family members deposit funds into an inmate's commissary account. Instructions are posted at each kiosk.
For video visits, you can use any internet browser, including Safari on iOS. The Visbridge program is no longer required or supported, so feel free to uninstall it.
Be on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the visit will be cancelled.
Visitation space is limited and every visit must be scheduled through the visitation office, so timing matters. Treat your scheduled time like an appointment. If you're late, you could lose the visit entirely.
Not getting registration or scheduling emails from GTL? Your email provider may be filtering them. GTL specifically warns that AOL and Yahoo can block the notifications you need to register and schedule. They recommend using an alternate email address. If you already have an account, switching to a different email (look for a "Change Email Address" option under "My Account") can solve the problem fast.
For help with GTL account registration, scheduling, or missing confirmations, call GTL support at (855) 208-7349. They can troubleshoot sign-in issues and help you manage your scheduled visits.
For the complete list of visitation rules, call the visitation office at (615) 384-7971.
If you have questions about scheduling (or anything that might affect whether your visit will be accepted), call the visitation office at (615) 384-7971 first. Since all visits must be scheduled and space is limited, a quick phone call before you book or head out can save you a wasted trip.
