Visiting Someone at Robertson County Jail: Schedule, Rules, and the 20‑Minute Visit

Female inmates have visitation on Wednesday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. If you're traveling in, plan around that two-hour window.

Male inmates have visitation on Wednesday and Sunday, 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. That afternoon slot is the only scheduled time for male visitation.

You must be on the inmate's approved visitor list to visit. Show up without being on that list, and you'll be turned away - even if you arrive during the right hours.

Before visiting, sign the visitation log on the counter. Everyone has to sign in.

Bring a photo ID. Staff may ask for it at check-in, and you don't want to get stuck without one.

Visiting Someone at Robertson County Jail: Schedule, Rules, and the 20‑Minute Visit

Visits here are short: each inmate gets one 20‑minute visit per visitation day. That's the total time available - no extensions.

Multiple people want to visit? The jail allows up to five approved visitors to split that same 20 minutes. Decide ahead of time who's visiting and how you'll divide the time.

  • Decide in advance how you’ll split the single 20‑minute visit (it can be shared by up to five approved visitors)
  • Make sure everyone who plans to visit is on the inmate’s approved visitor list
  • Be ready to show photo ID if staff ask for it

Only one visitor is allowed in the visitation room at a time - no exceptions. Even if you're splitting the visit among multiple people, you won't be in the room together.

Warning: If a visitor attempts to bring an unauthorized item into the jail, they may be permanently denied visitation at Robertson County Jail and may be subject to criminal prosecution.
