How to Set Up a TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler Account (for Rogelio Sanchez visitors)

You have to create your own TDCJ Online Visitation Scheduler account - unit staff can't do it for you. Once your account exists, staff can help update things like your name or address. But the initial sign-up? That's on you. Choose your email carefully: once an account is tied to an email address, it can't be deleted or changed later.

Enter a valid email address during account creation and submit it. The system sends you two things: a 7-digit validation code and a link to finish registration. You'll need both to complete the next step.

1. Open the registration link from the email - use the link the Scheduler sends after you submit your email address.
2. Re-enter your email address - type the same email you used to start the account.
3. Enter the 7-digit key - copy the validation code from the email and enter it exactly.
4. Create your password - make sure it meets all listed requirements on the screen.
5. Re-type your password to confirm - enter it a second time to finish this part of registration.

Next comes a Background Questionnaire. Answer every question - leaving anything blank will block you from moving forward.

With your account and profile set up, add the inmate by entering their TDCJ/SID number. The number must be exactly 8 digits - if it's shorter, longer, or has a typo, it won't match. Don't know the number? Use TDCJ's Offender Search feature to look it up first.

After you submit your Relationship Request, it goes to the inmate's unit - in this case, Rogelio Sanchez State Jail - for staff to verify your relationship. You won't be able to schedule visits until that verification is complete.

Quick Troubleshooting

• ✓ Check your inbox for the registration email that includes the 7-digit validation code and the registration link.
• ✓ When you use the emailed link, re-enter your email and enter the 7-digit key exactly as shown.
• ✓ If you get stuck at the password screen, make sure your password meets all requirements and that you re-type it correctly for confirmation.
• ✓ Enter your phone number as XXX XXX XXXX (spaces only, no dashes).
