To send messages, you'll need a GettingOut account - available on their website or mobile app. Once you've created an account and added the person you want to contact, you can start messaging through the Messages section.

  1. Go to GettingOut and start registration - Use the GettingOut website or download the GettingOut mobile app.
  2. Create your account - On the login screen, choose the option to create a new account and enter the required information.
  3. Upload your driver’s license photo - During registration, you’ll need to upload a picture of your driver’s license.
  4. Finish the one-time registration - St. Lucie County Jail requires a one-time registration before you can access visit scheduling, so it’s worth completing this upfront even if you’re focused on messaging right now.
  1. Open your Contacts tab - This is where you build your contact list.
  2. Select the facility - Choose “St Lucie FL.”
  3. Search for the inmate - Enter the inmate ID number or the inmate’s name.
