How to Schedule a Personal Visit at Salem County Jail (Wednesday Night Call Window)

Salem County Jail only takes personal-visit scheduling calls during one weekly window: Wednesday night, 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. These calls book visits for the upcoming designated weekend. Calling days or weeks ahead won't help - appointments are only taken during that Wednesday night window.

Slots fill first-come, first-served based on call order. Want a specific time? Call right at 7:30 p.m. and keep trying until you get through.

Call to schedule: 856-769-4300 ext. 7790 (during the Wednesday 7:30 p.m.–10:00 p.m. window).

Each personal visit lasts forty (40) minutes. When you book, you're reserving one 40-minute session.

Space is limited - the jail books five appointments per 40-minute slot. That's why calling early matters. Popular times fill fast.
