Reaching San Saba County's Victim Assistance Coordinator: When and Why to Call
If you're a victim in a San Saba County case and want to stay informed, the Victim Assistance Coordinator should be one of your first calls—especially when filling out or updating a Victim Impact Statement.
Jennifer Fleming serves as San Saba County's Victim Assistance Coordinator, working out of the San Saba County Attorney's Office. The office is located at 500 East Wallace, Suite 203, San Saba, TX 76877.
You can reach the Victim Assistance Coordinator by phone at 325-372-3747. Need to fax paperwork? Use 325-372-5653. Email works too: victimcoord@co.san-saba.tx.us.
When you've completed the Confidential Victim Contact Information form and Victim Impact Statement, return both to the county or district attorney's office prosecuting your case. That's the office handling things in court - and where your forms need to go.
The coordinator can walk you through how your Victim Impact Statement (VIS) and contact details fit into the process. Your VIS travels through the entire system - prosecutor, judge, parole board - helping each understand the emotional, psychological, physical, and financial toll the crime has taken. Your contact information matters just as much. According to the VIS packet, the details you provide may be used to reach you if you want updates from Community Supervision and Corrections (probation), the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (prison), or the Board of Pardons and Paroles.
Moving or changing your phone number? Call your Victim Assistance Coordinator or the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Victim Services Division at 800-848-4284 to update your information. When submitting updated forms, send them back to the county or district attorney's office prosecuting your case.
