Santa Ana Jail publishes two different sets of hours that affect your visit: front lobby public hours and inmate visitation session times. The front lobby is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., but visitation hours are separate. The facility also lists specific times when the lobby is closed (with an effective date), so plan your arrival around those closures, not just the general lobby schedule.

Steps to Follow

• ✓ Plan your week Sunday through Saturday (that is the visitation week the jail uses).
• ✓ If you are visiting Tuesday through Friday, use the listed session times: 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m.
• ✓ If you are visiting Saturday or Sunday, use the listed session times: 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m.

Use the front lobby hours to time your arrival and handle any in-person questions. The lobby is open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. These are not the same as visitation session times, so make sure you're also checking the posted visit sessions when picking a day and time to see someone.
