Mailing Letters and Photos to Sarpy County Jail: Address, Review Rules, and Photo Policy
Mail rules can feel picky. But use the right address and avoid common rejection triggers, and your letter is much more likely to get through mail review at Sarpy County Jail.
Address inmate mail to: Sarpy County Correctional Center 1206 Golden Gate Drive Papillion, NE 68046 Include the inmate's full name on the envelope. If you're writing by hand, print clearly - sloppy or incomplete info can delay delivery or prevent the letter from reaching the right person.
Tip: If more than one inmate has the same name, add a date of birth or a middle initial to help staff match your mail to the correct person.
All incoming mail at Sarpy County Correctional Center goes through review. Even regular letters and cards get checked before delivery. Anything that breaks the rules may be rejected or placed in the inmate's property instead of being handed over.
Legal mail works differently. Staff open and search it in front of the inmate during delivery. This protects attorney-client communication while still letting the jail screen for prohibited items.
