SCI Cambridge Springs

All visits at SCI Cambridge Springs are booked through the Pennsylvania DOC Inmate Visitation System (IVS). You'll need an IVS account, a Keystone login, and approval on the inmate's visitor list before you can schedule anything. Plan ahead: IVS requires at least three days' notice and won't accept bookings more than 60 days out. Both in-person and video visits must be scheduled online in advance. You can't just show up and arrange one on the spot. Under DOC rules at this facility, each inmate may receive up to four in-person visits per month (including one weekend visit). Visits run at least one hour, and up to four visitors can be included on a single visit. When you arrive, lock your vehicle with windows closed and be ready for searches and a metal detector. There's no waiting area on facility grounds. If you have scheduling questions, contact the facility or Central Office email.

Video visits at SCI Cambridge Springs are free for all inmates. Each inmate can have up to six video visits per month, including one weekend visit, and up to six visitors can join a single session. All video visits are monitored and recorded, except those with legal counsel. The facility switched to Zoom on Dec 15, 2021, and non-attorney visits are audio and video recorded through that platform. To join, you can log into your IVS account and select the Video Call URL, click the emailed URL from the vendor, or open the Zoom app with the meeting ID and password. Don't join more than 3 to 5 minutes early, and hang up as soon as the visit ends.

SCI Cambridge Springs accepts deposits through JPay online, by phone (800-574-5729), by money order made out to JPay, or at on-site lobby kiosks. Stick to these approved options only. Don't send money to other individuals or unapproved sites. A few limits to know: credit card deposits are capped at $300 per card every 72 hours, and money orders max out at $999.99 each. MoneyGram walk-in or cash deposits may allow up to $5,000 per transaction. Funds typically post to commissary or trust accounts, or to prepaid phone accounts, so follow the deposit instructions carefully and include the inmate's name and facility ID. Keep commissary quantity limits in mind too. For example, the $10 phone card (item 42300) has a limit of 10.
