What to Do If Your Video Visit Gets Disconnected at SCI Frackville

1. Open your IVS visit link again - Go back to the automated confirmation email or your IVS account and tap/click the video visit URL.
2. Use the Zoom page to re-enter the visit - When the link opens the Zoom website, select Launch Meeting.
3. Enter the details Zoom asks for - The Meeting ID should fill in automatically, but you’ll be prompted to type your name or email before you can join.

PA DOC video visits let you join starting 5 minutes before the scheduled time. If you get disconnected, try rejoining within that window - and again right at the scheduled start time. Use your original IVS/confirmation link.

Regular (non-attorney) video visits are recorded - both audio and video - and can be reviewed by staff. A disconnect doesn't change that. Even if the call ends early or you have to reconnect, it's still a monitored visit. Attorney visits work differently. Video visits with attorneys are not audio or video recorded, which matters if you're deciding what to discuss after a choppy connection or interrupted session.

• ✓ If you have the link, click it and follow the Zoom flow: select Launch Meeting and enter your name or email when prompted.
• ✓ If you suspect the visit was canceled, check the email address linked to your IVS account - IVS sends an automatic email if the facility cancels a visit.
