How to Schedule a Visit at SCI Mercer: In-Person and Video Options

SCI Mercer offers both in-person and video visits through the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections visitation system. You'll use the Pennsylvania DOC Inmate Visitation System to schedule either type.

There are two ways to visit someone at SCI Mercer: in-person or by video. In-person visits mean traveling to the facility and going through security when you arrive. Video visits happen remotely - but they're still scheduled and managed through the Pennsylvania DOC visitation process, not a separate video call app.

You'll need a Keystone Login before you can schedule or join a visit. The Pennsylvania DOC Inmate Visitation System uses Keystone Login to verify your identity, so make sure your account is set up and you know your login details before trying to book a time or sign in for a video visit.

Everything runs through the Pennsylvania DOC Inmate Visitation System. Log in with Keystone Login, find the person you want to visit, choose in-person or video, and follow the prompts to request your visit. For video visits, you'll also join through this same system - log in a few minutes early to avoid last-minute login headaches. For in-person visits, you handle scheduling online, but the actual visit happens at SCI Mercer.
