Sending Mail to Someone at Sheboygan County Jail: What Changed in May 2023

As of 05/01/2023, the Sheboygan County Detention Center no longer accepts personal mail at the facility. All personal mail now routes through the Securus Digital Mail Center. If you send a letter the old way (directly to the jail), it likely won't get delivered.

Here's how it works: the Securus Digital Mail Center receives your letter and scans it digitally. The person in custody then views it on a tablet or kiosk inside the facility. They won't receive the original paper letter.

1. Confirm you’re using the right system: As of 05/01/2023, Sheboygan’s personal mail is handled through the Securus Digital Mail Center, not accepted physically at the jail.
