Visiting Hours at Sheboygan County Detention Center: Remote vs. On‑Site
Planning a visit is easier when you know the schedule upfront. Here are the current remote and on-site visiting windows at Sheboygan County Detention Center, along with a few rules that could affect whether your visit goes through.
Remote visitation runs every day from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. This morning block tends to be quieter if you prefer an earlier check-in.
There's also a daily afternoon window from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Good option if mornings don't work with your schedule.
Evening remote visits run every day from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. This is the longest block and often the easiest to fit in after work or other responsibilities.
Note: Effective 12/05/22, you must be registered with Securus Technologies to visit - this applies to remote visits and on-site visits.
On-site visits happen Monday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. These are your two weekly options if you prefer visiting in person.
Wednesday has an afternoon on-site slot from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Useful if evenings don't work or you need a midweek option.
Reminder: Even if you’re visiting on-site, you still need to be registered with Securus Technologies (effective 12/05/22).
Each visit lasts 20 minutes, and only two guests can be in view at a time. For remote visits, keep the camera area limited to two people - otherwise your session could get cut short.
- ✓ For an on-site 20-minute session: up to 2 adults and 1 child under 18
- ✓ For an on-site 20-minute session: 1 adult and up to 2 children
All visits are recorded and monitored by the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office. The exception: approved attorneys and other approved professionals aren't recorded.
Bring this on the first visit: If you’re bringing children, parents must bring the child’s birth certificate on the first visit.
