Fees are deducted immediately from your loved one's canteen account - 100% at once. There's no billing later. The money comes straight out of the funds they'd use for commissary purchases.
Note: Fees are collected only for medical services your loved one requests.
Nurse sick call runs Monday through Friday. If your loved one puts in a request to see the nurse, the fee is $5.00.
For issues requiring a doctor, MD sick call happens once a week. That visit costs $7.00.
Med Dropoff Rules
- ✓ Bring medication in the original pharmacy packaging.
- ✓ Make sure the original pharmacy label is still attached and clearly shows the inmate’s name.
- ✓ Only drop off medication that is current and not expired.
- ✓ Keep each medication in its own separate packaging (do not combine pills or mix medications together).
Note: The facility won't accept mixed medications. Each prescription must stay in its own separate pharmacy packaging.
