Hamilton County Jail Commissary: When to Order, When Deliveries Arrive, and Fraud Risks

The commissary ordering window opens Thursday at noon and closes Saturday at 10:30 PM. If you're adding money for an order, get it done before that Saturday night cutoff - otherwise, you'll have to wait for the next cycle.

Commissary deliveries arrive on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Place an order during the weekend window, and items should reach the facility early the following week.

Be careful where deposits come from. If a deposit gets flagged as fraudulent - whether you did it intentionally or someone did it on your behalf - the inmate could be permanently blocked from receiving future deposits. The commissary vendor (TBE) also reserves the right to bar inmates at any time, for any reason, without explanation. That means access can be cut off even if you never find out why.

Warning: A fraudulent deposit can permanently block future deposits, and the vendor can bar inmates at any time without giving a reason.
