The jail offers education options through its Programs staff, including independent study for a GED or high school diploma. These services run in partnership with Yreka High School. Participation is voluntary - your loved one needs to request the program through Programs staff to get started.

The jail holds weekly Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings for substance-use recovery support. Recognized volunteers from each group lead these sessions. Attendance is voluntary, so your loved one can decide whether to participate.

Non-denominational religious services are held twice a week, led by volunteer lay-ministers.

If your loved one wants support from their own faith community, the jail can usually accommodate visits from their pastor during regular visiting times. There's also a dedicated Jail Chaplain - your loved one can request chaplain access by submitting a request inside the facility.
