How to Send Money to Facility

Not everyone can put money on an inmate's trust account. Since September 1, 2020, only senders on the inmate's approved visitor list or Inmate Telephone List can deposit funds.

You can send funds by mail. Include a money order or cashier's check with a completed deposit slip and mail it to: Inmate Trust Fund, PO Box 60, Huntsville, TX 77342-0060.

How to Send Money to Facility

Steps-to-follow

  • Confirm you are currently on the inmate’s approved visitor list or on the Inmate Telephone List (this requirement has been in effect since September 1, 2020).
  • Get a money order or cashier’s check.
  • Complete the required deposit slip.
  • Mail the deposit and completed deposit slip to: Inmate Trust Fund, PO Box 60, Huntsville, TX 77342-0060.

Note: Follow the deposit rules above. If you're not on the approved visitor list or Inmate Telephone List, or if you mail to a different address, your deposit may be rejected.

Before sending anything, confirm your name is on the right list. Only people on the inmate's approved visitor list or Inmate Telephone List can deposit funds (as of September 1, 2020). Verify you're currently approved before trying to add money.

Double-check the mailing instructions before sending payment. Your money order or cashier's check needs a completed deposit slip, and everything goes to: Inmate Trust Fund, PO Box 60, Huntsville, TX 77342-0060.

Tip: Procedures can change. Check the facility's official instructions or call to confirm the current deposit process, especially since the approved-sender rule took effect September 1, 2020.
