Need funds to arrive fast? Automated deposits through ConnectNetwork (online, mobile app, toll-free phone, or kiosk) reach the facility within one business day. Mailed deposits work on a different timeline: money orders are typically processed the next business day after GTL receives them. The mailing time is the wildcard - once your money order arrives, processing moves quickly, but nothing starts until GTL has it in hand.

Money Orders Limits Payee Address

  • Maximum money order amount for GTL trust deposits: $300
  • Money orders must be issued in U.S. dollars

Mailing a money order? Send it along with the South Carolina deposit form to: GTL Financial Services, 10005 Technology Blvd West, Suite 130, Dallas, TX 75220. Don't skip the deposit form - without it, your deposit won't be processed correctly.

Note: Trust Fund deposits are final. ConnectNetwork states there are no refunds issued for these deposits.

If you're eligible for a GTL refund, mail your request to: South Carolina Department of Corrections, 4444 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC 29210. Haven't received your refund after 30 days? Call 1-866-640-5445 (Monday–Friday, 6am–8pm Eastern) to follow up.

Practical Steps Checklist

  • If speed matters, use an automated ConnectNetwork deposit (website, app, toll-free phone, or kiosk); it’s transmitted to the facility within one business day.
  • If you mail a deposit, include both the money order and the South Carolina deposit form, and mail them to: GTL Financial Services, 10005 Technology Blvd West, Suite 130, Dallas, TX 75220.
  • Keep money orders within the $300 maximum.
  • For a GTL refund request, mail your request to: South Carolina Department of Corrections, 4444 Broad River Road, Columbia, SC 29210.

Tip: Save your receipt and any mailing documentation. Mailed money orders are typically processed the next business day after GTL receives them, so proof of delivery helps you track timing if something goes wrong.
