How to Schedule Your First Visit at Stanley Correctional Institution (Stanley CI)
Scheduling your first visit at Stanley Correctional Institution comes down to two things: book through ICSolutions, and make sure everyone coming is already approved and on the institution's schedule. Show up without both, and you'll be turned away. Keep the visit limits in mind too—only one in-person visit per day, with additional caps on weekly and weekend visits.
Book your first in-person visit through ICSolutions. Before you lock in a time, confirm that everyone coming is on the PIOC-approved visiting list and scheduled to visit - unscheduled visitors won't get in. Only one in-person visit is allowed per day, so pick the time block that works best.
Stanley CI uses ICSolutions for scheduling both in-person (contact) visits and video visits. Keep the limits straight: one in-person visit per day, up to four per week, and only one on weekends. Video visits have separate caps - three per week, up to 12 per month, and also one per day. Look at your whole week before picking a slot.
Step2 Blocks
- ✓ Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 2:30 pm–5:15 pm
- ✓ Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday: 5:45 pm–8:30 pm
- ✓ Only one in-person visit is permitted per day, so choose the single weekday block you plan to use
- ✓ Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays: 8:00 am–10:00 am
- ✓ Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays: 11:00 am–1:00 pm
- ✓ Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays: 1:30 pm–3:30 pm
- ✓ In-person visits may only have one visit per weekend
- ✓ If a holiday is connected to a weekend, that holiday counts as part of the weekend - only one visit is allowed for the three-day weekend
- ✓ Only one in-person visit is permitted per day
Lobby closures: The visiting lobby closes weekdays from 4:15 pm–5:00 pm and on weekends/holidays from 12:00 noon–1:00 pm. Visitors also won't be admitted within 30 minutes of a visit's end time - arriving late isn't an option.
Before heading to Stanley CI, confirm every visitor - adults and minors - is on the PIOC-approved visiting list. Approval and scheduling are two separate steps. You need both. If you're not on the schedule, you won't visit, even if you drove hours to get there.
Step4 ID Entry
- ✓ If you’re 16 or older, bring photo identification for check-in
- Time your arrival - Arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start of visiting hours.
- Don’t line up too early - You won’t be allowed to enter the lobby until 10 minutes before visiting hours begin.
- Avoid the closure windows - The lobby is closed weekdays from 4:15 pm–5:00 pm and weekends/holidays from 12:00 noon–1:00 pm.
- Don’t count on late entry - Visitors will not be admitted within 30 minutes of the scheduled visit’s end time.
At the lobby, you may need to fill out a DOC-176 Request to Visit Offender form. Security staff will likely stamp your hand and check it when you enter and leave secure areas.
Checklist Double Check
- ✓ Your visit is scheduled through ICSolutions for the correct date and time
- ✓ Every visitor (adults and minors) is on the PIOC-approved visiting list
- ✓ Every visitor age 16 or older has photo ID ready for check-in
Time your arrival carefully. Don't show up more than 15 minutes before visiting hours - you can't enter the lobby until 10 minutes before start time anyway. Remember that the lobby closes weekdays from 4:15 pm–5:00 pm, so avoid arriving right as that window begins.
