You'll need to register before you can reserve a visit by phone. Suffolk County Correctional Facility requires all visitors to complete the facility registration form first - no registration, no reservation.

Keep your group small. Each reservation can include a maximum of two additional guests.

Acceptable ID

  • A valid state driver’s license
  • A valid state driver’s permit
  • DMV non-driver license identification card
  • U.S. Military ID
  • Foreign passport (in English) with photo ID

Note: The facility accepts these forms of ID only when they're valid. Check your expiration date before you leave home.

You must be 18 or older to visit alone.

Bringing someone under 18? They must be accompanied by their parent or a documented legal guardian to enter the facility property.

Here's the paperwork step that catches families off guard: minors can only enter if the incarcerated individual has signed a Parental Acknowledgement Form that's on file with the facility.
