How Phone Accounts Work at Sullivan County Jail: Two Ways to Pay
Phone calls at Sullivan County Jail get paid one of two ways: the inmate buys phone time with their commissary money, or you add funds from outside so calls can go through.
Two payment setups exist for phone calls here. First, inmates can use their commissary balance to buy phone time at the kiosk inside. Second, family or friends can add money from outside - helpful when the inmate's commissary runs low. Outside payments can fund the inmate's calling ability generally, or you can load money onto one specific phone number so the inmate can only call that prepaid line.
Want to add money yourself? Head to the jail lobby and use the CPC kiosk. This is the most direct option for family and friends who prefer handling things in person rather than online or by phone.
Inmates inside the facility can buy phone time at the jail kiosk using their commissary balance. At the lobby kiosk, you can deposit with cash or credit card. Transaction fees may apply, so the total you pay might be slightly higher than what actually posts to the account.
Note: You can mail a U.S. Postal money order in the inmate's name to 77 E. Justice Dr., Sullivan, IN 47882. Personal checks are not accepted.
To add phone funds online, use the InmateSales site and pay with a credit card. This works well if you can't get to the lobby kiosk or need to add money outside business hours. For help with phone-time payments, call 702-829-3001 (credit card payments; transaction fees may apply).
Prefer to pay by phone? Call 702-829-3001 for phone-time payments or 1-855-836-3364 for commissary deposits. Transaction fees may apply to phone payments.
- Call the payment line and listen for the menu - When you’re adding funds, use menu options 2, 3, or 4.
- Choose the option to fund a specific phone number - You’ll be putting money onto your own phone number (or another specific number you choose).
- Complete the payment - Once funded, the inmate can only call that one prepaid number.
