What You Can (and Can't) Bring to Visiting Day at Suwannee Work Camp

Anyone 16 or older needs a valid photo ID. No ID, no entry - staff check at the door.

Planning to use the vending machines? You can bring up to $50 in cash per visitor, regardless of age. Stick to $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills.

Only visitors can buy from the vending machines, and everything must be consumed in the visiting area. Never give money to an inmate.

Baby Supplies

• ✓ Up to five (5) diapers
• ✓ Up to three (3) clear baby bottles
• ✓ Up to two (2) toddler sipper cups
• ✓ Up to three (3) clear plastic jars of sealed (unopened) baby food

Need to bring prescription medication for yourself? Keep it in the original container. The label must be legible and show the medication type, dosage, and your name.

Bring one vehicle key. Keyless entry devices aren't allowed unless the duty warden (or designee) inspects it and confirms it's your only way to access your car and poses no security threat.

Show up with items not on the allowed list - or more than the permitted amounts - and you'll need to find somewhere secure to store them during your visit. This only applies to legal, non-contraband items.

• ✓ No needles or syringes - do not bring them in or leave them on facility grounds
